Ohio Girls Ministries is designed to develop girls spiritually and mentally. Our emphasis is on Christian mentorship and growing godly character.

Our Five-Fold Purpose

1.    To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance.
2.    To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us, developing girls spiritually and mentally.
3.    To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships.
4.    To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities.
5.    To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Preschool children ages 3 and up

Noah’s Ark provides an exciting theme for the Bible stories, crafts, full-color activity pages, and games for this preschool club. Rainbows add colorful animal badges to their vests as they complete requirements for the achievement program. Units can be completed in 4 weeks. Only nine units need to be completed each year.

For kindergarten girls

Darcy, Diana, and Dorie (paper dolls) help Daisies make life applications from the Bible stories and principles they learn. Daisies can earn colorful badges depicting these club characters as they complete requirements for the achievement program. Four-week units allow visitors to fit in right away. Club sponsors and girls select the nine units they want to complete during the year.

For first and second grade girls

Megan, Carmen, Kim, and Tonya guide Prims through life-application stories as the girls learn biblical principles. The Discovery Box stores lesson-related objects to be displayed during lesson time to make learning even more fun. Prims can earn colorful badges depicting these club characters as they complete requirements for the achievement program. Units can be completed in 4 weeks. Only 18 units need to be completed in 2 years.

For third through fifth grade girls

Girls make their way up the Stairway of the Stars achievement program as they complete units in the four worlds: The World of Truth (basic Christian doctrine), The World Around You (missions), The World About You (activities), and The World Within You (character development). Memorization, projects, and Bible reading are all a part of completing the achievement program as an Honor Star. Four-week units are supplemented with projects and Adventures. Extra activities may include retreats, campouts, sleepovers, crafts and fun!

If you have ever known a girl in middle school or high school you know what a crazy time of identity shifting this can be. Many girls confide less in parents and more in peers. They crave someone to share their thoughts with. Cultural values add pressure to a girl to indulge in choices that have long-term consequences. Friends and Girls Only Clubs meet the needs that teen girls face head on. Friends and Girls Only clubs have discussion-based curriculum and fun activities for girls in middle school and high school that serves as a guide for the Titus 2 principle of godly women mentoring girls. The curriculum can be used as an achievement or non-achievement option.
