Isaiah 62:6 states, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD,  give yourselves no rest…”  God has called men to stand as guards over their homes, families, and friends.  The Men’s Ministry of Faith Memorial Church is designed to help them do exactly that! This is for men ages 18 - 99 who want to be a part of a group of friends that learn, grow, laugh, and compete together. This is accomplished in several ways:

SMALL GROUPS:
Each Sunday morning at 9:00, 2 groups meet at the church.  The first is a group of “Champions” that come together in Room 123 to learn and discuss how to become men of Integrity and Godliness in a world where that is hard to find.  This is an actual Curriculum that, at it’s completion, awards the men with a ceremony and a sword to symbolize and honor the step each man has taken to grow in and embrace the purpose and plan of God in his life. The second group meets in Room 103 at the same time to study the Bible and talk about issues men face in today’s world and how these can be faced, endured, and sometimes even conquered!

YEARLY EVENTS:
Each year the men of Faith Memorial take a trip for two days to Gameday.  This is an exciting time of music, worship, bonding, and challenging messages that can change a man’s life by drawing him close to the heart of his Creator God.  Gameday occurs sometime in March each year.

Each Fall, around early to mid-September, the men of FMC get the clubs out of the garage and go on a golf outing! This event includes a large barbecue and a little “9-Hole Competition” (complete with prizes)!  Lots of food, a little “trash-talking”, but a bucket-load of FUN pretty much describes what is experienced by all!

SOFTBALL:
Each year, in early Spring, about 2 teams are put together to play in a church league.  Men can get some exercise, have a little healthy competition, and bond with other guys as they learn to become “team players” and make close friends. (And YES, there are team “uniforms” and score is kept!)
