Closely Watching for God

GOD PAUSE: I was reminded this morning just how dependent we are on God. I have a wonderful dog that always keeps her eyes on me, looking and waiting for the slightest gesture showing what's next. Psalm 123:3 reminds us “We look to the Lord our God for his mercy and kindness just as a servant keeps his eyes upon his master or a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal.” Lord, my friend and I turn our eyes upon you today, looking for you alone to meet every need that we have. We need your mercy and your help every step of the way. And we thank you for it. Amen.
