What In the World?

GOD PAUSE: I was greatly encouraged this morning as I read Psalm 11. It would be be helpful for you to take some time today and look at it. It was written during chaotic times in David's life. I mean, things were really shaking around him. But he says in verse 1 and 4 “I am already in the soft embrace of the LORD, so why do you beckon me to leaven, saying 'Fly like a bird to the mountains.' But the LORD has not moved. He remains in His holy temple. He sits squarely on His heavenly throne.” Heavenly Father, my friend and I are glad you hold us in the hollow of your hands. And you are still seated on the throne. You're still in control of things. We take great comfort knowing that. Amen.
