The Oldest Question

GOD PAUSE: Well, this morning, I'm starting the journey of reading the oldest book of the Bible, dealing with the oldest question --- Why do bad things happen to good people? Job was a good man who loved God and lived that way. But he suffered tremendously. While it's true the end of the story shows God's favor and blessing, I somehow feel Job 1:21 says it all. "I left my mother's womb naked, and I will return to God naked. The LORD has given, and the LORD has taken. May the name of the Lord be blessed.” Lord, help me and my friend never lose the fact that we always have you. You are the constant. Amen.
