OD PAUSE: If you're like me (and you probably are), you want a vibrant, healthy relationship with God. Lately I've been thinking about Jesus words in John 15 where He says He is the real vine and the Father (God) is the husbandman or pruner. God's job is to cut away the decaying, diseased branches from our lives. Really any action, course or habit of sin in my life is a diseased branch that needs to go. It will hinder me from having a vibrant relationship with God. So, Lord, may my friend and I open up to your pruning process in our lives. When you go to work in an area of sin, may we also deal with it. Cut it out of us. Amen.
