Jesus, the Trusted Name

GOD PAUSE: From time to time, as I've traveled along the interstate, I see a sign that reads “Jesus, the Trusted Name.” Like the words of the old hymn “Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him, how I've proved him o'er and o'er.” No wonder in Psalm 9:10 David could say by experience “LORD, those who know your name come to you for mercy and protection. And when they come, you do not leave them without help.” Lord, there's nothing higher than your name and your word. In the power of your name we have come to rely. In the speaking of your name is peace, joy, presence and power. The trusted name. Amen.
