In a Funk

GOD PAUSE: At breakfast this morning, a friend and I were reading about the life of Jesus in Matthew chapter 9. All through his day, Jesus made a difference in the lives of people around him. It says in verse 36 “Whenever crowds came to him, He had compassion for them because they were so deeply distraught, malaised, and heart-broken. They seemed to him like sheep without a shepherd.” Malaised means to be uneasy, feeling discomfort or unhappiness without knowing why. Oh my friend, may you and I see people the way Jesus did. People need the Lord. And you and I can be the ones to help them make that connection.
