The God Who Loves You

GOD PAUSE: I don't know the circumstances in David's life when he wrote Psalm 61, but I do know he relied on the resource of talking to God about them. In verse 2 he says “You are the One I will call when pushed to the edge, when my heart is faint. Shoulder me and lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” My friend, you will not go under. The flood won't overwhelm you. The Lord is your sanctuary of safety and refuge. And extended life and increase of years are His promises to you. Because of all this, you'll never stop singing His wonderful praise. Be blessed as you let it all soak in. That's the God who loves you.
