GOD PAUSE: For me, Peter in the Bible has always been a picture of hope, the story of a turn-a-round, that failure does not have to be final. Jesus even told Peter that Satan was in hot pursuit of him --- to make him part of his harvest. But Jesus told him “I have prayed for you that your faith will hold firm and that you will recover from your failure and become a source of strength for your brothers” (Luke 22:32). Lord, your love for us is unconditional. You always see our potential. And because you pray for us, we will get back up again. Even our mess-ups will become a message of hope for others. How awesome you are!
