Who Speaks into your Life?

GOD PAUSE: As we begin reading the story of King Saul in the Bible, we see the importance of having good people speak into our lives. I Samuel 9:9 says “If a man went to inquire of God, he would say 'Come, let us go to the seer' because the prophet of today used to be called a seer.” As Saul had a Samuel to give him direction and encouragement, you and I have the Holy Spirit. Jesus said 'I will send you the Holy Spirit and he will guide you in the way you should go.' Father, thank you for the gift of your Spirit. And for the gift of wise people as well. They are given to speak into our lives – in timely ways. May we always listen to them. Amen.
