Feel the Wind

GOD PAUSE: I love my morning walks, more the spiritual benefits than the physical ones. Sometimes I'll wear earplugs to shut out the noise as I talk with God. And I've noticed that I hear and feel some wind as I walk. Not taking steps means not hearing the wind in my ears. In John 3, Jesus says that the working of the Holy Spirit is like the wind that blows. Life in the Spirit is as the wind of God, He says. My granddaughter, Kami, will say “God won't guide your steps unless you move your feet.” Lord, we won't be frozen in a place of inactivity. As we take steps to move, we expect to feel the wind of your Spirit direct us. Amen.
