The Blame Game

GOD PAUSE: We can all be pretty good with “the blame game.” Not owning up to things is far too easy. In all my years of helping people with court situations, only one person actually said “I am guilty. I was wrong.” David writes in Psalm 32:5 “When I finally saw my own lies, I owned up to my sins before You, and I did not try to hide my evil deeds from You. I said to myself 'I'll admit all my sins to the LORD.' And you lifted and carried away the guilt of my sin.” Lord, may we always be honest with ourselves and with You when it comes to sin. May we be quick to deal with it, asking Your forgiveness, cleansing and restoration. Amen.
