Starting the Day Right

GOD PAUSE: How you and I start our day, sets the course of what kind of day it will be. I want to read a verse from Psalm 63:6, describing how David did it. He says “Often at night I lie in bed and remember You, thinking about Your greatness till the morning smiles through my window.” Even right now for me, daylight is just barely beginning the day. As I sit on the edge of my bed, I can think about the goodness of the Lord to me. Mediate on His greatness. Lord, my friend and I begin our day with You on our minds and hearts. We pause and reflect on how good you are to us. Even before we start out on today's journey, we connect with You. Today will be a good day. Amen.
