Treading Water?

GOD PAUSE: Probably at some time or another, you've heard the question “How long can you tread water?” This morning I was reading about some problems or situations in David's life. I don't know the specifics but he was saying He was up to his neck in water. He was beginning to sink and he couldn't feel any rock or bottom for his feet to touch and be secure. But during his “treading water” experience, David says “I pray to you, LORD, in the time of your favor. In your great love, you will answer me with your sure deliverance and help” (Psalm 69:13). Papa, sometimes it gets scary. We do our part to tread the water, but ultimately, we cry out to you. In your great love and faithfulness, you will turn it around and rescue. Amen.
