Choose your Words Carefully

GOD PAUSE: The words that you and I speak have a lot of power and influence --- in our own lives and those we share with others. They either tear down or build up. Discourage or bring encouragement. Our words either bless or curse others. It is helpful for me and you to know that unhealthy words come from an unhealthy life. That's why Proverbs 18:8 says “The words of a gossip merely reveal the wounds of his own soul and his slander penetrates into the innermost being.” Make no mistake about, unhealthy words will result in an unhealthy life. So don't give them a lodging place in your heart. Recognize their source and turn away from them. Instead, be filled with God's life-giving, health-producing words. You will discover them in your Bible. Be blessed as you dig for them and find them.

(Bless someone today by sharing this GOD PAUSE.)
