God's Kiss

GOD PAUSE: As I sit outside this morning, I'm taking in the sweet smell of last night's refreshing rain. The cool gentle breeze is a welcoming relieve from the hot days lately. It reminds me of the refreshing, peaceful Spirit of God inside your and me. I was just reading Psalm 29. It is read in Jewish synagogues on the first day of the Feast of Pentecost, the time of the Holy Spirit's arrival. Verse 11 says “This is the one who gives His strength and might to His people. This is the Lord giving us his kiss of peace.” Papa, how thankful we are for the precious gift of your Spirit. By faith we receive His strength and refreshing for our day. Come, Holy Spirit. We need You. Amen and amen.

(Bless someone today by sharing this GOD PAUSE.)
