God's Word is Indestructible!

GOD PAUSE: This morning, I was reading about a king who did not believe the warning or word of the Lord that was given to him. And because he didn't believe it, he took action to try to destroy it. The king took out his knife and cut up the words of God and threw them into his fireplace. Ah, but the word of the Lord will stand forever. So God told the prophet Jeremiah “Take another scroll and write on it all the words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim, king of Judah, burned up” (Jeremiah 36:28). Dear Lord, your word will stand the test of time. And the rejection or disbelief of foolish people. May I and my friend always put our faith and trust in it. And build our lives upon it. Amen and amen.
