God's Autobiography

(9) Ken Hiser

GOD PAUSE: A very wonderful and powerful thing happens when you and I take the time to read the Bible. When you keep in mind that it is God's autobiography, you begin to see what the heart of God is really like. What he cares about the most. And we get a pretty clear picture of what He wants of you and me. This morning, I was reading in Ezekiel 18:23 that says “Do you think I like to see the wicked die?” asks the Lord. “Of course not! I only want him to turn from his wicked w...ays and live.” God's heart is not that a single person would die in their sins. But that we would all repent or turn toward the Lord, letting him change our way of thinking and living. Heavenly Father, I need a continual work of repentance taking place in my heart and life. And that is your heart as well. Continue to change me into the person that pleases and honors you. Amen.
