The Way Maker

GOD PAUSE: I, the LORD God, am still here --- right beside you. I understand the season of your life. You cry out for and yet don't find my comforting grace. At times you are even too burdened to pray. Your mind wanders to those so-called “better days” of your life in the past. Your sleep escapes you often. Feelings that I have walked off and left you. Feelings that my well of sweet mercy has dried up. Even wondering if my promises will ever come true. You think I'm angry with you and have closed my heart of compassion. But I have formed a highway through your troubled sea. Follow my footprints and I will led you forward by my loving hand. (based on Psalm 77)
