GOD PAUSE: During my time in God's Word today, I found that how long a person lives isn't what really matters --- but where they're heading, where they're going. Methuselah lived the longest recorded lifespan in the Bible --- 969 years. But his father died at 365 years. His name was Enoch. The Bible in Genesis 5:24 says “But Enoch had such a close and intimate relationship with God that one day he just vanished. God took him.” C. S. Lewis once said that “Your place in heaven will seem to be made for you and you alone because you were made for it.” My friend, the most important thing about your life is where you're headed.
